my interior lights stay on while driving, but go off after parking the car.
any body else had this problem? tell me how to fix it

hmmm check the lil dimmer beside the headlight switch, and check the lil lamp switches in the rear-view mirror...


either way that's really odd

 

Is it a specific couple lights or all interior lights?

 

i checked the those already, there in the off position. im gonna check the switches in the door jambs, i think one of those might be bad.....
does anyone know if the opening the trunk activates the interior lights?

 

It sure does.

 

i wonder if so on a vert....i cant remember.....i will look and see if i find a switch around the trunk lid.....

white96Z all my interior lights are on including the trunk

 

If i'm not mistaken, the switches in the door jams are contained within the latching mechanism. There's an actuator in there i believe. Not a door jam switch in the traditional case.
