interesting roller rocker problem!

alright today is the 3rd day my pro mag RRs have been on the car. well it was pretty nice out so i went on a little drive to finally test them out on dry pavement. well after a couple WOT runs wrapping it up to 5k-5.5k, i got a knocking sound. its not a bearing...its one of my RRs. one of them for some reason got real loose and started clanking so i went to fix it. my luck it was on the pass. side so i had to pull out the alternator n crap. so anway.. i managed to find the one that was REALLY loose and tightened it up, then started the car to make sure it was tight enough.( not clanking) but what i noticed besides no more noise was that the rocker that was real loose has a lost more oil gushing out of the pushrod than any of the others i kinda thought i might have collapsed a lifter or something with my 987 springs and 80k stock lifters but nothing seemed out of the ordinary when i drove it around...oil pressure was good. no change in throttle or idle. everything is perfect except for the excessive oiling. do i really have a problem here? why is it now oiling so much more of the RR?

I think your fine you would hear taping if it was the lifter. Have you had anyproblems with the 3/8 rocker studs and those rockers? More oil is not a bad thing either, and did you look over rod and rocker for damage?

nah...the nut was still on the rocker so it just came loose. i havent had any other issues other than this today. the studs seemed fine. i was doing some searching and found out they tend to throw more oil when they are loose so that might be why i was seeing so much.
