intake removal
Re: intake removal
you can either get the disconnect tool for the injectors or you can remove the fuel rail as a whole unit and set it on the fender well...just be careful working around it. Maybe pad the top and bottem with some rags or old shirts.....other than that it's just a matter of disconnecting everything and undoing some bolts....just remember how everything goes back together. Might be a good idea to label the connectors so you know where they go when you go about putting it all together again....takes the guesswork out of it....
Re: intake removal
Just make sure you know how all the vacuum lines hook back up. Take your time and do it right. Get a long thin razor blade to slip in the seal under the TB to help break that seal between the manifold and the block. Then get a flathead screwdriver to help pry the intake off, but be careful not to mess up the mating surfaces.
You will need 2 fuel rail disconnect tools (they are different sizes for 2 lines) to get the fuel lines off, or you can just take off the injectors with the fuel rail still connected and put it to the side.

Re: intake removal
The fuel rail is a piece of cake. I can do an injector swap (changing o-rings and all) in about 40 minutes.
Pop the electrical connectors off each one (Have to push the plastic clip in and lift up while wiggling) Get a fuel line disconnect tool from Advance and pop the lines off. Then four bolts hold the rail down. You might have to pull pretty hard to get the rail off cause the o-rings like to hold the injectors in. Make sure to take the line off the fuel pressure regulator on the back, too.
