Intake options

Call me crazy, but I am curious if there has been any word of anyone making a plastic composite LT1/4 intake manifold. I know that F.A.S.T. makes them for the LSX motor, "which already has a stock composite intake." I know that edelbrock is soon releasing a new intake but I believe that it is metal. I know that a composite intake would eleminate the heatsoak that is produced from our engines, and show better horsepower increases on the LTX than that of a LSX intake from the LSX stoker. I am looking at a total rebuild on my engine at the end of this year to a 383 "6.0". So I have a little time to wait for some new intakes before I buy. Any feedback or inputs will be greatly appriciated. Thank you and God bless.

Re: Intake options

been discussed many times....but never amounted to anything.

cost would be VERY high to begin with, and not sure how much you can really gain.
