intake manifold leaking?
intake manifold leaking?
I am having trouble with my intake manifold leakin. I haverecentley replaced the gasket but it is still wet behind the manifold. Its not muc but u can definetly tell its leaking. im prett sure the gaskets are good. could anything else be causin it t feel wet?
leaking fuel rails....
leaking fuel lines
leaking FPR!!
could be anything!!
redo the intake, thats the only way.. but if you wanna try this..
remove the convoluted tubing that runs from the #8 primary to the passenger side of the intake manifold. this has been noted to cause the manifold oil leak..due to the heat comming off the pipe..the pipe is so close to the auminum manifold that is heats up the RTV and causes that leak to occur.
its easy to remove the pipe, but when you do you must remove the EGR i think?
or wrap the pipe in heat tape... when you redo the manifold
