intake manifold gaskets

What are everyone's preferences on intake manifold gaskets? I've seen a couple of different Felpros for the LT1, and there is always the stock GM. Are the ports all the same size, are they all the same thickness?

TIA,
Rob

I've used Felpros on my car and on a friend's car. Never had a problem and I would definetely use them again. Yes, all the ports are the same.

I think www.ls1speed.com sells the whole gasket kit.

Felpro seems to be the popular one from what I read on this site. I just bought Felpro from Autozone. Forgot the price. Came with intake gasket, new o-rings for the fuel injectors, new gasket for the TB, tube of sealant for the front and back of intake, and gasket for the exhaust intake. Pretty good deal IMO.

Anyone ever used the Victor Reinz gaskets from NAPA?

For the "Felpro folks", which p/n Felpro did you use?

Thanks,
Rob

I just installed the victor from napa and so far so good. It's made out of a plastic like material but it works I guess.

The Victors seemed to be constructed more like the GM gaskets but the raised sealing "beads" were much taller. That's what I like about the looks of them.

Thanks for the reply!

Felpro MS95580 is what I used. It had all that stuff in it that 94_Z28_guy said.

Notice anytihng that would make this statement from Summit viable?

This set of Fel-Pro OEM intake manifold gaskets are ideal for stock replacement use. It's not intended for race applications.

Can't see why the Felpro would not be fine for any N/A LT1. Perhaps forced induction is where they are going with that statement.

I guess the extra cost of some other gaskets would make it viable to Summit.
