Intake Manifold Bolt Sleeves/Washers

I'm ready to put the manifold back on but I did not keep track of one thing, there are 4 tall washers, or sleeves on one side, and 2 on the other and I am confused as to which bolts go into these sleeves. I know which bolt goes where, but not where these sleeves go....any help? Actually the left side has 5 bolts the same size, and one smaller in length, no studs, so the picture in the manual isn't helping at all.

Also, anyone know what bolt the wiring harness tab on the left side is supposed to go to?

Those are exhaust manifold bolts-not inake bolts.

Here is what mine has:

Spacers are used on the 4 outside bolts on each side. Your bolts may not be exactly the same. A long bolt would be used with a spacer.

Are you sure? They are too long to be exhaust manifold bolts, I just bolted the headers back on today and they are short bolts, unless manifolds have longer bolts. The motor was rebuilt 12k miles ago and I don't know why they would put exhaust manifold bolts in the intake, and what are the sleeves for then, I don't see them being used in the exhaust manifold? I took these off of the intake and labeled them accordingly.

Well, intake bolts don't use the spacers. Headers would not use long bolts.

ok, this is all screwed up, they put the wrong bolts on, I don't know if any of them are right....where I can I get replacements? I can't find a source. ARP maybe? This is probably why the manifold bolts where taken off by my fingers when I took it off, with the exception of about 3 which I had to use the wrench on.

edit, found these but they don't have the studs, how important are the studs?

You need to have some studs to mount solenoids and alt brackets. It's not hard to mix up the two manifold bolt sets. They are the same thread/pitch and similar length. You could probably use what you have as long as you make sure none are too long and bottom out. Since you say you have headers, the spacers might have just been thrown in with the other bolts.

Well I only ever had one stud and nut, apparently, so I guess I could make it work, but I'm going to buy an ARP set, match all the bolts up with one studded bolt and ditch the spacers.

Thanks yet again for the help, shoebox.
