Everyone knows LT1s are notorious for losing power after the intake manifold heats, but the LS1 doesnt have this problem. Is this because of a composite intake manifold vs. an aluminum one? and if so, couldnt somone just make a casting of the alunimum and injection mold a composite manifold? I couldnt see this as being too hard of a process for someone who has access to an injection molding machine, and even if it wouldnt work, has it ever been tried and tested?
