well i was lookin at my intake the other day and the part that connects to the engine, the bottom the rubber or plastic is all dried up and is cracked and a peice fell off too... but what problems would this cause? is it worth replacing?

 

so your intake elbow is trashed. It could let in unfiltered, unmetered air. Replace it with a 1LE unit. Order it from Jason Cromer. Do a search to find his contact info
