intake and exhaust help
i just bought a 93 z28 auto tranny and am just starting to play with it. 
the mods are endless and some are confusing.
my new moroso cai arrived today and as i was looking up more mods i came across two things, the 1LE elbow and the air foil. so i read up on the elbow and it doesnt have the hole in the intake bellows right? well wouldnt the stock elbow and a resonator tube plug be the same thing?
cuz if it is then it would be way cheaper to buy a plug rather than the 1LE right?
also, i was talking to some auto parts guy and i asked him about the air foil, when i told him i had a 93 Z, he said that they came with air foils. is this correct? i havent had a chance to check.
Last, what would be the best exhaust size catback, a 2.5" or a 3"?
i have no idea, i am no tech and you guys are the best at what you do
my car is all stock. a huge difference from the 2.8 85 bucket i was riding on I LOVE THIS CAR!!!

1st question: Yes...you can take a soap or shampoo bottle and cut the bottom off and plug the hole with it!
2nd question: No you car didn't come with an air foil from the factory, it could have one in there, but unless someone else did, there isn't one!
3rd question: 3" Cat back...i have the hooker aerochamber cat back mated with Hooker shorties and i love the sound! I would recommend getting headers as a first mod!
4th...we have a wonderful search function! You will find more than enough stuff on these subjects!
