installing lt4 KM

installing lt4 KM

how do i do it?

i know I remove the PCM, but does the PCM have cables attached to it, or just a slot like thing?

and how do i remove the PCM :P sorry, but i never played with that area of the car

i remember there was a site with couple pics of this... where is that at?

This is not hard and can be done with just a few tools. Remove power from the computer (PCM) by removing the fuse inside the car that's labeled PCM, or just disconnect the battery for this procedure. Remove the single bolt (10mm) that holds down the PCM. You then can turn over the PCM (wires attached) and remove the small cover (1 3/4" x 2 1/2") with a torx screw driver. At that point, the stock KM pulls out and replace it with LT4 KM. Reverse the process to put back together. Replace fuse or reconnect battery, and your done.
