installing ASM's

Im using a stud kit to install my ASM's, just wondering if anyone else had to bang the sides of the primary's a bit so that you can make room for the nuts?
Thanks,

Tony

please elaborate. If your talking about the headers to heads, no I didn't have to do anything to the primaries.

If your talking about the collectors, all but one bolt fit in without a prob, one had to be tac welded because I couldn't get to it.

You shouldn't need to bang the primaries in. Actually, you shouldn't be able to bang them in.

It's a monotonous task, spinning a bolt or nut ,1/4 turn at a time, but it's the right way to do it.
