installed ls1 air box today

finally had some extra time (since i figured i would be having to modify a few things as most others have to do) today and decided to try to put the ls1 airbox on. conveniently enough i had to modify NOTHING to make it clear. the only thing that needs to be done is to extend one of the sensors because it is on the opposite side of the lid when compared to my stock ram air. so anyone with a firehawk looking to do this, you wont have to do any "clearancing" or anything, just bolts right in (i also had to get longer bolts to hold the radiator support down) my main reason for doing this is that i think it looks better, plus changing the filter is as simple as two clips now. when i get some extra time im going to make my own ftra and put that in also, hopefully i will see some gains over the stock intake, if not oh well, it hasnt cost me anything yet

Did you have to use the LS1 lower airbox and radiator support? I have been thinking of doing this mod also just trying to figure out as much as possible before hand.

Thanks, Dan
