Question Installed ES Poly Trans mount, now another noise???

I had my ES Poly Tranny Mount installed today. I have a 95 vert. When they took the old mount off they unscrewed the X brace to gt it off. The new one was put in, no mre huge CLUNK sound. NOW when I start the car when its cold I hear a sound, kind of like popcorn, very low volume popping for a few seconds or until I shift to drive or something. Not there when driving. ONLY when I start from a cold start. Strange??

You'll probably hear/feel lots of stuff you never heard/felt before.

So this is kinda normal then huh? Why does it go away? Thanks shoebox, I appreciate the reply.

It's not unusual to hear different sounds cold than hot. I imagine the sounds were there all along, you just did not hear them.

Never, get rid of it.

I put one on my 95TA and it spent less time on my car than a gallon of gas. POS poly tranny mount is way to hard for my taste, not to mention it changed the angle of the DR which is not good for u joints.

I like the extra firmness. Feels more like I thought it would to begin with. A bit more vibration but NOTHING major. The noises are even less than they were yesterday. I like the poly mount.

I debated for awhile, listening to everyone say they had alot of vibration after install. I bit the bullet and had it put on. I like the feel, and not that much vibration. Glad I did it.
