Installed Danatech silencer cones. What a difference!

Hello,
For anyone wondering if the danatech cones will work. I'm here to tell you YES THEY DO WORK. My car with the ORY pipe was just to loud and raspy. I just inserted the 3" cones (one after each header collector) and went for a drive. The car exhaust note is much more confined/together, but its still very aggressive when you want it to be. The car is not as loud either. I do here a "pop" when I'm lazily changing gears at around 4-5K rpm. But If I change the gears quickly or racing, then I don't here it. Overall I'm well please with the sound of the car. The car sounded a tad bit better/deeper with the cats. W/O the cats, LE2 cam sounds wicked at idle

I always wondered about those things (cones in general) from what i remeber though, they seemed to be pretty expensive, maybe $70-80/single unit?

Thanks, I've been wondering if those actually worked or not

Now for the real question:

Did you notice any power loss at all?

Hello,
I got these from jegs at @ $59.99 each. Part # 032972-32520 (vortex cone 3" ) I called Dynatech directly and they wanted $70 each. I didn't lose power, My but-o-meter says that I picked up the low-end torque that I lost when I took my cats out. I guess they added a little backpressure.
