haynes repair manual 15 bucks at parts stores? or what kind of info. you will need to remove the electric fans, drain the coolant, and undo some bolts. sheild the opti spark from any water with rags at least.

edit and the air pump has to be moved a little to get in there. the first time i diod my water pump was in a motel parking lot with barley adequate amount of tools but i got out of there finally. took like 4 hrs with two trips to the parts store.

Re: instalation new water pump

Remove fans (4 10mm bolts)
Remove belt (I think it may be in the way of some bolts), tensioner is a 1/2" socket or wrench
Remove air pump as the bracket needs to come off before the pump will
Remove necessary hoses
Begin swimming in coolant
Remove the 6 bolts that hold the pump in, 9/16" socket (or 14mm)... Use a short socket and an extension on the bolt behind the p/s pump, it will fit.
The bolt on the lower right hand side of the pump will let out a ****load of coolant, be prepared to catch it.
Install is reverse of removal
