finished with the engine swap 94 v-6 to a 94 lt1. did not have spark from coil yesterday done the checking and replaced the opti. now getting real good fire, can spray the inside of the intake with fuel and it fires and runs until the gas is gone. can turn engine over and over and it tries to hit but just want, spray gas in it fires right up until gas is gone. please help..

 

did you check the injector fuses?

 

yea the 7.5 under the hood.

do have .but dont know how much, will find out tomorrow.

 

Is the pcm getting the low res signal from the opti, this is the signal that the pcm uses to fire injectors.

ok i have 42# of fuel pressure. used a noid light no pulses from the light. i have power to the inj. with the noid light in the harness i checked the power to the inj. and have power on both sides of the harness where it plugs into the inj. what to do now...

 

just tried to pulse inj. only have one inj. spraying fuel. the rest are either clogged up or stuck. any trick to freeing them up .

 

The computer pulses the injectors, so your problem is most likely there if the wiring is good and spark is present. Are you sure it's not a problem with the antitheft system? Lots of people forget that step with engine swaps.

just got the computer back from ion. had the vats disabled,air,egr, and speed limiter.when trying to crank it this evening it hits but that is all. pulled all the inj. out and found 7of the 8 were not even clicking. guess the intake had been sitting up for a while. with a little shop air and a can of carb. and choke cleaner got the to start clicking and unstuck, so i am letting them sit soaking till tomorrow.
