Injector Problems

I found out my car was missfiring so I narrowed it down to the #7 injector being stuck.

Will 8 replacement 25lb LS1 injectors be ok to run in my LT1? It's 1 more psi above stock.....Do you think the ecu will be able to compensate for this extra fuel?

Yes, as long as they fit correctly 1 or 2 lbs won't effect it. That's very interesting that you found the injector was stuck shut instead of open. Never seen that. How did you find it? Was the coil windings open?

I had the car running and pulled 1 injector harness at a time...the engine lost idle rpm and changed note when i took a good injectors harness off....then 1 injector made no change to the engine after removing the harness

then i moved the bad injector to another cylinder and did the same test with the same results.

wanna know a real ****ty part of this story? a friend let me have one of his 20k mile ls1 injectors....but the damn thing was stuck open and almost hydrolocked my engine

So you moved the suspect injector to another cylinder and that cylinder was dead too right?
