Injector Options

This is my first post here. I have a question about what my options are for eliminating the 1500-2000 stumble that is so common in LT1s. I just bought my Camaro. It's a 95 M6 with 127k on it. It's in really nice condition for the year and mileage, it's had all synthetic fluids since day one, plus I only paid $4500 so I can't complain too much. Anyway, back to the problem at hand. I think I am going to start trying to solve it by either replacing the injectors or having them professionally cleaned since I noticed people dumped tons of money into other parts with no good results. Which do you think would be a better option, replace or clean? Also, where is a good place to get them cleaned or to buy new injectors? If I buy new injectors, should I go with AC Delco or some other brand?

Sorry about all the questions. I'm kind of new to the F-body world. I'm a former Honda driver, so far the F-body experience has been a lot more fun except for the stumble problem.

You could see what a cleaning will do for you - it will be considerably less expensive and at 127K miles it couldnt possibly hurt. If you find you need to replace them, you can go with SVO (Ford) 24# or 26# (requires PCM programming) or right back to stock.

SVO 24# could be put on pretty much without reprogramming, as for 26# I am only aware of LS1 injectors, which are rated at 60 or 65PSI, and they dont really belong on an LT1 car.

The SVO 24# are close enough, but I'm going to guess your problem is not injector related but something else. Do you get a Service Engine Soon light?
