When I turn the ignition to the on position I hear a hiss noise for 2 seconds after the fuel pump quits making its usual noise. The hiss is coming from the top of the intake area between the #1 and #3. This started after I blew a hose from my procharger to the intercooler. Do you think this is related.

Is this the sound of a bad injector o-ring??

If you're talking about KOEO, no the problem won't be an O-ring since nothing has turned on the injector yet. Why don't you put a gage on the fuel rail to see what is happening to the pressure when you hear the hissing?

The nice thing about OBDII, if there is any, that you can turn off or turn on any injector with a scanner. My Snap-On CGS does it.

 

the car does start and runs. Would this be a symptom of a blown o-ring? I do not have access to a guage at this time. thanks for the reply and nice punkin.

 

You could pull the fuel rail, and disconnect your coil wire and have someone turn the key over and you could observe your injectors if there is any damage or something isn't normal.

I pulled the rail and inspected the drivers side o-rings. They all looked good but I replaced them since I was there. Is it normal to hear the fuel rail "fill up?"
