Your stock injectors are perfectly fine for what you have.

Agreed. Don't upgrade the injectors until you need them. The stock ones are good to probably 450 horses at which point you will also need a better fuel pump as well.

I went with all the mods below and only put in 30#'s. The stock ones can handle up to like 400rwhp.

Was that for me?? Well either way thats not true. Neither of us need to upgrade. Go do some searches on the topic. There are many guys who get their car Dyno Tuned that will justify that statement.

My friend is running 10.80's with just heads, cam and tc on his 02 LS1 with 30#'s. When he put it on the dyno it was more than sufficient. Oh yeah thats with a 175 shot.

dont go by everything you read on the board
do the math on injector duty cycle. most dyno tune guys cant read injector duty cycle anyhow.

and fyi the 175 has nothing to do with the injectors, if its a wet kit

but its your car have fun. burn some injectors up and hope they dont lock up.

fyi a nice resource http://www.z31.com/software/injector.pl

shoot for 85 duty cycle and dont forget you need to calculate FLYWHEEL

Either way, not something you want to screw around with, run a cylinder too lean and youll wish you bought those nice overkill injectors, if you get them might as well go overkill, 42s if you plan on going bigger and better in the future.

Until you change the PE (power enrichment) tables with LT1edit the injector duty cycle is going to be what it was originally programed at the factory. At WOT the PCM is open loop and uses a lookup table. Monitor your duty cycle and think about upgrading when if it gets much over 90%.
You can always raise the fuel pressure some to keep the duty cycle down, but don't go too high. You will need to do some PCM programming.

Good luck,

Gordon
