No prob. It's just every time I turn around there was something extra and a "Oh yeah, don't forget to do this or you'll screw up the entire project" as the last minute.. I just kept thinking what if they didn't tell me that? Or what if I didn't ask them this question to que that in? What else do I not know? Not to mention all the different opinions on how to do it are different and contridict each other. But, in my case I didn't neccessarily have the time, patience, and needed to have the car running. It's just frustrating knowing the motor is already torn down and already have the cam, then not nearly as easy as you thought it was. I know I was under the assumption that I wouldn't be spending more than 100 in extra parts to get the cam and rockers in that I had already owned, then I see prices that are 200+ for just springs. At that point I lost it, haha. I love cars and I could see myself doing this as a hobby, but damn.

Oh, I understand. I missunderstood big time.. I thought you had everything torn down, like timing cover etc. and THEN decided to not put the new cam in. Thats why I was like WTF? lol Yea its a big pita to swap cams, ive done it twice in a LT1 but its worth the pain after when you fire it up for the first time! And it is more then likely gonna cost more then you think when you need to buy alla the small **** and special tools etc..

I think I'll do it once I get my own garage. Working outside in Virginia's winter isn't fun by any means. I think the next car will be an ls1 vette. HOPEFULLY a 2001 z06 ;-)
