I'm looking at a 94 Z28 convertible - any weaknesses?

I have a 95 Z28. My son is looking at a 94 Z28 convertible. My car has been pretty good to me. If you were buying the 94, what should I look for? What are the weak points of the 94 car & motor?

First off- it's a convertible.
Second - high mileage motors usually need lots of tuning up, new opti and the like...
Third - GET A MANUAL TRANS
Fourth - either get a new top in the deal, or be prepared to shell out some $$$ for it if it's old

Well I loved my vert, actually miss it since its been totaled, the are lots of fun, and they can be made very quick with few bolt-ons, I had mine down to low 13's without cam. The t-tops are a pain to take out, plus you can never use your trunk because they are stored there. My top looked as good and fresh as a new one, and this is a cr driven in Michigan with harsh weather. Just find one that doesn't creak alot and feels solid, it took me a while to find a nice one. Like the other guy said higher miles means more things to fix.

look at the fabric where it bends going up and down, look for tears or starting tears. Also, look at the rear window REALLY well, that's where your problems are going to be. When the window starts to come apart from the fabric, it a PITA to keep together. The window can not be put back in, after it comes out. The top is a two piece top, but I recommend replacing both pieces. Mine was quoted at 1600$.
