I'm just looking for an opinion

My motor has 163,000 miles on it, never rebuilt. Always had synthetic fluids. Do you think that the below pictures are good for the mileage. I think so. Thanks.....

Now, I'm doing all this because of an intake gasket leak. I found this head bolt looking like this. Do you think that this is the cause problem. They are all getting replaced.

These are the other ones....

Looks like you lost the seal on that head bolt.

I especially like the way the ground is in focus, but the bolt is not.

what do you mean by lost the seal. Why would it do that, and if so is that where my coolant was probably going? Where would it go in that case, top of the head? The oil doesn't really look that bad, it wasn't going out the tail pipe and definitely wasn't leaking on the ground, but it was dissappearing.

I have the dumbest digital camera in the world. But I forgot to change the focus setting to portrait or something. I mean I was trying to take a picture of that ant on the ground. O...you thought I was talking about the bolt, lol.

Really, it's kinda hard to tell what came first, the chicken or the egg. The ugly bolt might have been the result and not the cause. If the threads don't remain sealed to the coolant, then coolant will leach up the threads into places where it should not be.

Take note of the gasket portion that is near that bolt or any others that might look like it. It's always a good idea to try to figure out what happened. Part of the education process.

Oh, yeah. That ant. I see it now.
