Re: I'm Confused- high end miss - Iat Sensor

Ok i'll try to give a quick run down. When i first installed my Pcm from Ion at madz28.com that's when the 5k to 6k rpm miss started. I started reading threads and decided i'd try a new coil since people said that can cause a high end miss. Well right before i bought it i read this thread http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=352446
I decided why not i'll try it. So unplugged my IAT Sensor Plug and to my belief my car ran great until the SES got set off and the 5k to 6k was back. I then read about the 4.7k resistor well i intalled that and my car ran great but it was also around 50-60 degree's for those few days so it was in the ideal range for the resistor. It's been like 65-70 here lately and that's why now i have a miss through all rpm's. If i give it a little gas it'll miss/hesitate and my car will buck a time or two and will be fine until i give it more gas.

And the only thing i've replaced is the IAT sensor itself which did nothing

Re: I'm Confused- high end miss - Iat Sensor

So i still have the problem and i don't know what it is. I've tried to scan my car but it just kept retrying, i also tried to scan it at advanced autozone and it said error. If i go wot i don't have the studder except i do notice it not pulling as hard from 5k to 6k but atleast it doesn't studder as bad as it used to from 5k to 6k. But for normal driving it's really annoying to be buckin around. So if anyone has any ideas then please reply.

Thanks Blaze
