Im back, got some questions.
Ok, I stepped back and took a deep breath and now me and my Camaro are friends again, although he is very upset I bought a set of heads and intake for my LS1 TA. Anyways, Im a little disappointed with my last visit to the track. After a dyno tune and making 392 whp, I ran a 12.68@108, 1.78 60ft. Another run was 12.65@108, 1.82 60ft. I was running slicks on some steel wheels I think at 25psi, hooked pretty good. I wasnt launching that hard, under 3k rpm. I got lca, relocation brackets, panhard bar. I got weld in subframe connectors, but they arent on the car. I was thinking it should be faster, way faster. Im running a Hughes 3k stall, Im wanting to upgrade to a 3600 or bigger. Could my stall be hurting times? Would it help a lot to upgrade?
I think I only gained like 2mph even after the HCI and dyno tune, not sure if the tune is even nuts on. I was thinking about obd1 to get a better look at whats going on with the pcm but I need to pass emissions. Another option would be a 24x swap, but dont know if thats really necessary. Both options would require a completely new tune on the pcm, there is $500+ right there. When it was getting tuned, he had software but was only able to monitor a handful of things, basically enough to get the job done. Ideas, suggestions? If you need any more info, let me know.

Not an expert but depends on the track you where at. Elvation , density and humidity also play big role in you times but your trap speed is pretty good for a mid 12's car check back the curves of afr and maf and pist some pics of that too als i rhink you should als post you power and tourque curves that will how you tune was.
Re: Im back, got some questions.
Your trap speeds do not match your HP. You should be trapping in the 112 to 115 range with that hp. IMHO, you should get it re-dynoed and scanned to see what it going on. At a minimum, I would do a scan during a run and see what it is doing. Something is not right.
Re: Im back, got some questions.
I'm 99% sure that the 4L60E from a C5 Corvette will NOT fit a Camaro; that's the transaxle version.
I would think that 3600 is plenty of stall. Your 60' times are great, so I don't see any reason to change that.
I agree with PWR SHFT; your dyno numbers should give you a higher trap speed, but that's based on some assumptions, both about your dyno run and about your track day.
Dyno questions: What kind of dyno did you make 392whp on? Most of us are accustomed to numbers from a Dynojet, but other dynos read higher or lower for the same actual power. Did you run it in 3rd gear? Does your converter have a lockup? Was it locked during your run?
Track day questions: I see you're in Phoenix. What's the elevation at your track? How hot was it that day?
I put 325rwhp down on a dynojet in 4th in my M6 car. That's equivalent to your 3rd gear if your converter was locked, and I regularly trap 107-109mph. But I did all of that at 600 feet of elevation on a 45-degree day, and the lower-density air you get on hot days and/or at higher elevation can make an enormous difference in terms of the actual power your engine can make.
