IMHO ignition upgrades are a waste unless your car really needs it. I would spend your money on something more benefical. I would not worry about upgrading your ignition coil until your stock one goes bad. I know MSD makes an ignition coil upgrade.

I got a Holley Annihilator ignition system from Jeg's, and I love it. It's reasonably priced at under 200 dollars for a plug and play ignition box with rev limiter and coil setup, and I noticed alot harder, smoother pull on the top end compared to my stock coil.

Yup, no need to upgrade unless you have a power adder.
