Anyone ever change an ignition switch without pulling the steering column out? I saw Shoebox's procedure for replacing it on his websight, but he pulls out the whole column, just wanted some feedback from guys who did it a different way and maybe some pointers/advice. Thanks in advance!

 

You don't have to pull it out if you don't want. There is nothing different about replacing the switch.

There is not much room to work.
