Question ignition switch location on 2000 sunfire?

i need to know if anyone has any experience working on a 2000 pontiac sunfire b/c my sisters car wont start and i have to drive her everywhere until it does!

the key will rotate all the way around but nothing happens which leads me to believe the ignition switch is bad. i havent tried jump starting it yet since it doesnt even try to turn over and the starter doesnt click.. ill go check the voltage here in a sec while im thinkin about it. so does anyone know where this switch is or what it looks like at least? thanks

I will make a guess and say it is like the 4th gen and is down on the lower part of the steering column.

Go to www.j-body.org. They can take care of any questions you have now and in the future about that car
