I am in a debate with a fellow at work. I had stated that I did not think on a STOCK car that upgrading the ingnition system fuel pump and injectors would add any horsepower. His thoughts are that more fuel and hotter spark will burn faster and produce more HP (about 10 was his guess) I was just wondering if anyone could let me know.

If it did add power, you wouldnt be able to tell at all. For the ignition, maybe better gas milage is possible but thats all. Injectors and fuel pump are only useful on more modded engines to meet fuel needs. They do nothing for power.
