ignition box

ok simple poll. pros or cons to using an accel 300+ over a MSD box in a 94 z with an lt1 that will be built into a 383 at a later date.

Really unless youare going power adder either is a waste of money, the ignitions on these are pretty strong, a stock LT1 gets as much juice as an Accel HEI coil puts out.

unless i got a bad one i would never get another msd 6a i broke down a couple of times and had to hook my coil back up direct and then a few days later it would be working again. it was just a headache...then i bought a 6al for my mustang and it did it once or twice too...not sure about the digital series though they may be a little better
