I wonder how much the shipping is on that item. Some companies have really good deals on the products and then they charge like 50.00 for shipping so they are still getting their full amount one way or another. For example, I was about to purchase an LT-4 Knock Module for 32.00 from one company. Then I got a shipping quote of 23.00! That is a ridiculous amount to ship a chip that isn't no bigger then my hand. Nonetheless, that intake looks just like a K&N or Moroso unit.

UPS Ground to ship to me in FL is only $11.00...think thats a good deal? I'm interested, but it seems like no name product, kinda wondering about the performance and reliability.

TD performance/Trans Dapt performance is not a no name company. They have been around for quite a while and from what I have seen they are very high quality reliable pieces. I would buy that if I wanted a CAI for sure.

Also that company the link goes to usually has very good prices on things.

That is a good deal, I sold my used Moroso for the same price.

That looks to be a direct copy of the Moroso unit I've got. Wouldn't surprise me if it's made by the same company that made the ones Moroso sells as theirs...

It's a pretty simple setup so even if it is "off brand" and cheaper somehow I can't see how you'd have any real problems. Unless perhaps the filter is a low quality knockoff or something. I got mine used for a real good price but if I was buying new right now I think I'd go w/ that...

Only visual difference I can see is that one isn't pictured w/ the piece of rubber hose to connect the intake to the MAF, but I'm assuming it's included.

Here is a pic of the actual Moroso unit from Tbrynemotorsports.com:

United Parcel Service ( Insured ) (UPS 3 Day Select) $17.38 [select]
United Parcel Service ( Insured ) (UPS 2nd Day Air, 2005-11-22) $21.88 [select]

Total cost of order
Sub-Total: $125.95

I have a SLP cold air for sale in the parts section. $100
It also includes the Exstended IAT harness to put it down by the filter.

looks exactly like my Morosso. the heat shield/mounting plate is good to keep the filter separated from the engine bay, but you have to jack the car up just to check the filter. that's a good deal, I paid $180 plus shipping from Jeg's a year ago.

wow, that also looks almost identical to the Lingenfelter CAI.

The only difference is my Lingenfelter DEFINATLY has a much larger K&N filter on it. But for a price 40$ cheaper, I could deal with a smaller filter

That is a bargain for anyone looking for a CAI

It is identical to the Moroso, the K&N, and whatever else. I don't know who did it first.

Too bad I just bought my Moroso... I knew I was going to get the Moroso over the K&N; it's like, $50 cheaper. I had a $25 credit at Summit so I got a decent deal on it anyway.
