What is the rpm value at idle of a 95 Z28 A4? Requested idle is 725 via a tech 1 and I'm around 700 -725 in park or neutral. In drive I'm around 550 - 625 and with the a/c on idle drops to around 470 - 525. No dtcs present and no ses light. Car had a higher idle before battery disconnected ( 800 - 900 ). I'm assuming the iac has been relearning after the batt was disconnected since the idle has improved from the 500 range to around 700 ( not in drive ). I have a friend at a dealership who borrowed a tech 1 but, neither of us have any experience using this scanner. What values are in normal operating range for a LT1?

 

Hot idle is 650 in Park and 550 in Drive. If you are seeing 725 requested, it is probably not fully warm. However, what is requested should be close to what it is idling at the time.
