It would still be meetered air though wouldnt it? Dude id just unplug n go.

It is def. sucking air from the intake tube... I also checked the routing of all the other hoses and everything is hooked up correctly. I will probably just get it programmed out, but I was hoping that this might be some insight into the other probs I am having...

You don't need to program it out, I haven't yet, if you remove it it won't leave any DTC's unless you have a bad fuse.

Have you checked the outer shell on the air pump? If its busted like mine was it would suck air from the hole in the case and blow it out both ends. Something to check at least.

As said above..no need to program out.. just unplug it and as long as the fuse is good, no problems

 

that was happening with me for a while, adn then it went away on its own. When their air would come on (hisssssss), the rpms would surge during idle. I got a code for EGR. not sure if that is related, but they happened at around teh same time.
