IAC for a 1997 is GM p/n 17113188. I would make sure it and the passages don't need cleaning, first. Also look for any tears in your intake elbow or any loose or cracked vacuum lines.

 

thanks for the number shoebox,the elbow is no concern(i have the vortech elbow ) and i have not found any vacuum leaks, but i am going to hook up my vacuum guage to make sure,will it be low with the intake leak? cause i know mine is leaking anys i think ill just change it since i had it out a few months ago while swapping the throttle bodies and cleaned it then. it does have 93,000 on it
