Idle Issue
After a search of the forums nothing seems to be the same issue - Sorry if this is a double post...
1993 LT1
Head/Cam Work CC 305/ stock trans / Ion Mad Tuner Tune / Hooker Shorty /
We Are Still Trying to get the car working correctly
ISSUE :
Idle Issue
Without A/C - when cold car will idle at 800RPM. When hot - 160degree or more - car goes through following cycle about every 2minutes
idle at 800 - then sounds like starving for air - then idle drops to about 500 and the sound of air rushing into intake varies- then idle kicks up to about 1200 - and slowly goes back to 800. Then repeats.
With A/C problem is worse.
When driving car and come to stop light - car idles fine, unless at 3 minute light - then starts above cycle.
WHAT WE DID
No vac leaks
Car seems in all good working order - temperature of all cyl constant on headers using infrared therm.
Cleaned all carbon out of TB and intake manifold - all clean-
we are going to try to use the stock chip tonight ?
NEW EGR
NEW IAC
READJUSTED VALVES ( by a pro)
TPS WORKING
Walbro 255
FORD SVO 30# Injectors
We are out of ideas

Okay - found the issue -
I had my stock PCM module on backwards to the piggyback adaptor... I went back to using my PCM for Less tune with the stock module on correctly and she's back!
Had a little throttle cable sticking due to the car sitting for a while... some WD-40 and we're good.
