When my reverse pops out of gear my car starts to idle at 2,200 RPMs when the car rolls with the clutch down and then when I come to a complete stop it slowly drops to 1,500 RPMs then if I turn off the car and start it back up it idles back to normal at 1,000 RPMs. Whats making this happen?

i have been having the same problem with my car but it was whenever i took the car out of gear coming to a stop they would rev up to 2200 then very slowly drop to 1500 then to bout 1100 when i was at a dead stop. i have been searching for about a month to fix this, if u find anything else out let me know.

Changed the MAP sensor and the problem went away.
