Idle adjustment would have to be done by reprograming the pcm.

You can't reprogram anything with Datamaster. You need programming software like LT1_edit or Tunercat.

Re: Idle adjustment

and why, still, do you need to adjust the idle from 700 to 1k rpm? just curious?

i was under the impression that ~700rpm idle is normal for an auto.

Re: Idle adjustment

i would suggest calling tunercat to have them renew your old code, if thats the case. i wouldnt suggest soliciting for someone elses code or a hack code. (not sure if thats what you meant, but thats what i got out of it. might want to clarify).

Soliciting software piracy will get you banned from this site. If you want Tunercat, buy it. It's not that expensive.
If your idle is not smooth at 700, you likely have some other problem.

Re: Idle adjustment

Check your knock counts, you may be getting knock when you accelerate from a stop causing you hesitation. If so, you need to determine the source of the knock (tune-up, arcing wires, false knock).
