What about the Opti wiring harness?
There's an 'extension' harness that runs from the Opti up to the intake manifold I believe, you should check the connections, clean them, maybe replace that harness.

Wow, this thread is ancient. I think this was one of my first posts on this board. As it turned out, it was the opti. Ironically enough, I am in need of opti again now.
