Ideas/help for extra cooling

Mods are in my signature. I posted here as its some simple cooling questions. I am wondering if installing this radiator: http://extremeradiator.com/store/pro...spx?sku=1486-4 will be enough to end my battle with overheating. I know I'll have to just try it to find out so I am willing. My real question is how would I wire a third fan to come on when my 2nd fan kicks in. Or better put what is the best way to configure a pusher fan to come on and how? Do I need to use relays or could I use scotch locks to tap into the passenger side fans wiring?? My car runs cool at highway speeds, with AC on and running the blower. I've had the blower off before for repair and the car would still run hot. This tells me I have something fundamentally wrong and need to work it out. I thought it was heat from the blower and the intercooler being mounted under the engine but it does it when the blower is off. Because the car runs cool at highway speeds it makes me think i just need to move more air through the radiator when in traffic. I want to keep the stock fans, what else should I consider? BTW I use water wetter and 90% distilled water. Do I just have a bum stock radiator? I am in Vegas where it gets hotter than hell

That radiator might help. I dont think adding a pusher fan will help any, it will probably cut down on the pullers air flow. Maybe you should look for a dual fan setup that pulls more cfm along with the radiator. IDK

Don't get that cheap radiator, if you get an aftermarket get something worth it like a becool. Mine runs alot cooler than stock.

For now I decided I can go with the pusher fan. I guess I'll just have to try it. Would tapping into the passengers fan wires make it turn on high when the Ac is on, the temps get up to the higher threshold, and off when I'm driving down the road? Do I need to worry about a relay. I'm looking at spal fans that draw 15 amps

If you put a pusher in front of the radiator your going to cut off air flow to your stock pullers. At least thats how I understand it, maybe someone else can chime in too.

that makes complete sense and I'm hoping it doesnt work againtst me. I'm looking at fans that will take up minimal real estate when they're off. The bottom line is I need more airflow. My car runs at normal temps when heading down the highway.
