iddiot light
my low coolent light is on, its a red light with an arrow pointing down toward some water. my engine is heating up to and somtimes over 210 at stoplights. i flushed my radiator and refilled it and also replaced the thermostat with a 180 hypertech thermostat. and the light is still on anyone have any ideas? it a 97,6speed, z28
Ya, Z-scrilla is probably right on this one. I believe that this is a common problem with most of our cars. The sensor will just go bad and start saying there is a colant problem when there really isn't. You can either replace or just unplug the sensor. They seem to be rather touchy with their readings. Might even be able to clean it???? Hope this helps.

silly question, but did you bleed your system a couple times after you flushed her?
