ICM and Coil...

Where are these located? I know where the coil is its on the driver's side block right? but where is the ICM located?

If any of these two are bad, or malfunctioning, can this cause detonation problems on cylnders? For instance, some cylinders not firing correctly?

it would be random missfiring. If it is the same cylinders every time, its prolly either a wire, plug, or the opti.

The coil is bolted to it. There will also be a stud on the head that has a bunch of grounding wires, that stud is also holding it on to the head.
Tons of deposits in the head and/or pistons can cause detonation or possibly a malfunctioning knock sensor, try a little sea foam to clean out the engine. Does it throw any codes?

no codes, justt feels like 1 or 2 cylinders drop for a split second.
