I have a 94 Lt1 firebird my ignition control module as well as connector were melted it was a 3 way connector. The only connector and module i have found are 4 way if i order this part how do i wire it into my 3 way?

 

All 4th gen ICMs and their connectors are flat, 4 way connnectors. Are you sure you are talking about the ICM? What melted it?

 

Its the part above the coil above the heat sink things black, ive looked on shbox.com on the component locations and it appears to me that one has 3 wires going into it as well. i had an engine fire.

 

Look hard, there are 4 wires.
