I want a deep growl - which catback?

I'm looking for a nice deep growl. I don't want anything that's just LOUD, I want something that has a nice solid, deep tone. Which catback should I get?

I personally would recommend loudmouth or 2OTL is also pretty popular, both by SLP.

Borla is pretty damn loud and deep.

I personally have all edelbrock exhaust. Gives it that vintage camaro sound

I've heard a lot of good things about Hooker, what's the word there?

P.S. - Sorry Craig, that's my second one today.

Hooker or Magnaflow or SLP 2OTL. Hooker has a nice tone, but it gets pretty loud at full-throttle. The magnaflow is a nice deep sound, but not quite as loud. Loudmouth is really loud, but it is pretty deep. The SLP 2OTL is about the best exhaust I've heard, so I say go with that. All of these flow well, so you'll get a performance gain with the sound. You can search for just about any one of these and get some sound clips. Good luck

Hooker will give you a deep sound. I'm very happy with mine after switching over from the Borla which will give you a higher pitched not good sound with LTs. Stock manifolds its fine but I say Hooker or check out Magnaflow and definitely Flowmaster for a deep sound. If you're concerned with performance dont go with the chokemaster.

Ok, that brings me to my next question: 2.5" or 3"?

Why 3" of course. Why would you want anything less? If you're going to spend the money, why not get the performance with it?

The 3" wouldn't be too little backpressure?

You want little backpressure as possible.
