I want 110mph+ traps until i get some ported heads. Which cam with 3.42's??

I have the money to order a cam kit. I'd like a cam that I can run well with my 3.42's. I would like to trap over at least 110-111mph on my stock heads for the meantime. Something with midrange and topend power. Something I dont have to rev over 6400rpms. Oh.......and 1,000,000 would do also Thanks for any help on making my decision. Post which cam you would get if you were me.

i would go with the 230/236 if you want a 110 traps without heads. The only cam close to the 305 would be the XE224/230.

cc305...if your car is an M6. you'll also need LT's, injectors, all the bolt-ons, some good tuning, and some crappy 60 ft. times.

There are 3 different types of 224/230's avaliable, one has 111lsa & the other has more lift but 112lsa like the first one

a CC305 and some weight loss will do it ...

a 230 / 236 XE is a VERY nice cam too ...
i trapped 110 .. on a 13.0 run with my CC305 and stock heads back in the day .. at FULL weight .. drop a 100 lbs and u'l be trapping 112 ish

I do it on a hotcam and street tires, N/A, with the mods I have in the sig and no weight reduction. But I have a M6. My torque arm broke on the 110 MPH run and chewed up my DS.

we've trapped 112.8 at full weight with the 305, bolt-ons and major traction issues.

I trapped 109 mph with a cc305, 1.6 rr's, RK Sport headers, and other bolt-ons. This was on a 150 000 mile engine.

with longtubes and a 230/236 you should have no problem cracking 110 mph.
