Exclamation I really need help on this simple problem...

I posted about this earlier this morning but only got 1 reply, so let me try this again...

My driver side radiator hose developed a bubble. So like anyone would do, I went out looking for a replacement. Only to find that NOT ONE auto parts store carried the correct hose. I went to Autozone, Pep Boys, Napa, Strauss, and about 10 other local places. Not ONE place had the correct hose. Every place that had it in stock, had some rediculous looking one with heat shielding on it. What was was weird was that everyone had the correct pass side (upper) hose in stock, but not the driver side (lower) hose. I've been looking all over the internet as well as around local stores with no luck for about 2 days now. I really dont want to have to resort to getting one of those dumb looking universal coil hoses. I'm prob going to have to go to a dealer, but I REALLY need to fix this by friday, and I know a dealer will take forever to get the part in.

Can someone point me in the right direction as to where I can find this hose?

It's # 14 in the diagram below.

That part # comes up with "UPPER" rad hose on www.gmpartsdirect.com.

I first thought that was the upper hose, but the one I got from Napa ended up being the same as the Pass side hose, so I figured the correct one would be the lower.

I also dont want to pay the shipping charges that GMpartsdirect.com charge.

That part number is the hose you want. If your not going to listen to someone who's telling you the right number, why make a thread and ask?

Edit: Here's a screenshot, straight off the parts manual...

I find it weird that all the stores I went to gave me the other hose when I asked for the Upper one.

Maybe you could have just posted the "Idiot" picture and I would have understood

Thanks, i guess
