A.I.R. Hose Pops Off??

My passenger's side AIR hose keeps poping off under heavy throttle and was wondering if this means I have a bad valve, clogged cat, bad AIR pump, clogged manifold?

Any ideas?

Bad AIR hose/pipe check valve maybe?
Is the hose brittle or burnt inside?
That round thing before the hose is a one way valve..
Probably bad.

Ya, the hose was very brittle and actually crumbled in my hand the other day. I bought a new one and replaced it, but it still pops off intermittently under heavy throttle.

The one way valve, I assume it's supposed to let air flow into the manifold, and not out of it? If so, it must be bad, because when the hose pops off I have a terrible exhause leak out of that valve.

Thanks for the info, I'll replace that valve and see what happens.

Thomas.
