Remember.....you get what you pay for.
With that said...

What size do you need?
Is the car an everyday driver or a weekend racer?

Get Nitto 555r s for the rears, and Goodyear Eagle F1s for the fronts.

I second the vote for these tires, they are great! I cut a 1.99 60ft on them a few weeks ago, and hopefully I'll do the same today, because if I do I'll run a new best ET (now that I solved my high rpm power drop)

I'd highly recommend tirerack.com, if not to buy then for research. They have surveys where you can read feedback from people that have ran the tires.

Personally, I like the Dunlop SP Sport A2. Its a great tire for $110.
The traction has been good in dry, wet, and snow. I've been driving on mine for 45000 miles, about time for a new set. Not a lot of burnouts, but I do take corners agressively.
Granted it is H speed rated instead of Z, but do you do over 130mph?

My Dunlop's were good, my Kuhmo's are better, lot's of bite. Can't speak for mileage numbers yet.
