Does velocity come into play with the MAF, or is it strictly a CFM issue with it? After reading another thread I'm playing around with the idea of making some changes to my intake tract.

 

The K&N will flow in excess of 1300CFM and they make a 12" long filter that flows 1200CFM,don't remember the part# and ya will have to call them 'cause it ain't listed anywhere I have seen. We have one on the shop car and put a 90* "L" on the K&N CAI and left it in the fender. Had to pull the nose clip to fit it but it's not bad.
