If I win I get the pink slip for his 396 L98 Vette. ($20,000 cdn).

If he wins he gets $10,000 cdn.

Just kidding Russ. The article on your car in gmhtp got me started on weight reduction in my car. Now your running 11.40s with a miss. Do you still have the bumper supports out and have they gave you any problems.

As for the post if you already have a 383 I don't see what the big deal is. Just get a real good set of heads with a matched cam. Then put your car on a diet. There are several guys here like Russ that ran low 12s and 11s with bolt on lt1s. You should have no problem running low 11s with a built 383.

Oh yea Russ....mine's a GREENBEAN too

Heh, nah, the bumpers have given me no problems since they've been out (3 years now). Low 11's shouldnt be any kind of a problem with a 383, as long as you can put the power down well. Being light doesnt hurt, lol.

set of AI ported AFR's and AI's 212 cam like what russ has and a good dyno should get enough power to getcha there on top of that 383.
lighten it up and get your suspension right
